Pancake Day
We enjoyed learning about the tradition of Pancake day... and also getting to try some pancakes too!
What caused the dinosaurs to become extinct?
What caused the dinosaurs to become extinct? We explored the three main theories given by scientists through our play this afternoon:
- Was a volcano to blame?
- Did an ice age wipe out the dinosaurs?
- Did a gigantic meteor cause the extinction?
Most of the boys and girls decided they thought the volcano was the main cause of the dinosaur extinction!

Dinosaurs
Our new IDL topic this term is Dinosaurs. This week, the children have been learning about the Brachiosaurus: one of the largest dinosaurs that ever lived! After measuring out the size of a Brachiosaurus in the playground, we had a go at drawing our own with chalk.
